In the film Leaving Las Vegas, why do you want to drink to death? Did I miss something in the movie? At first, I saw that he lost his job because he was an alcoholic. When he decided to go to Vegas to drink burnt to death some of his possessions which included a photograph of a woman and a child (which could have been his wife and son). I have heard no explanation. The loss of his family make him a drunk or did not play to his family because he was drunk? Why still want to commit suicide after finding a new love? I dont get it - Did I miss something in this movie?
